LISA HARDY

Lisa Hardy studied Fine Art Textiles at Winchester School of Art. After moving to London, she began a career in the fashion industry, working as a PR for luxury brands such as Alberta Ferretti, Sergio Rossi, Christian Louboutin, and Bella Freud. In 2018, Lisa left her fashion career and relocated with her artist husband to a converted barn in a small farming community in West Wales. The diverse landscape and the beauty of the surrounding flora continue to shape and inform her work. Hardy’s acrylic paintings draw from the quiet drama of the Welsh landscape and the delicate structures of the flora that surrounds her. Working in an abstract, contemporary language, she focuses on atmosphere and colour, distilling the essence of place into works that feel both grounded and ethereal.
