Inspired by the beautiful photograph of Woolf’s mother, Julia Stephens, sat in Talland garden surrounded by an abundance of Japanese anemones, this waistcoat features an embroidered flowering anemone stem. Several of Woolf’s early memories of her mother associated with anemones.
