“We’d just arrived to a house we were staying in for a few days on the island of Tinos. The view from the balcony was rolling hills, scorched earth and olive trees. The lady who owned the house had just spent 15 minutes pointing and circling various spots on the map that we should visit, her favourite beaches and local tavernas where she promised we would would fall in love with the food. This photograph was taken just after she left, as the sun streamed into the room and we didn’t feel in a hurry to plan where to go next but sat and soaked up what was already there.”
